No, usually it is not mandatory. Most bus operators accept an M-ticket. You simply need to show the SMS or Email confirmation (which contains the PNR/Ticket ID) on your mobile device to the bus staff while boarding.
Please check your spam/junk folder. If it's still not found, you can use the "Find Booking" or "Manage Booking" option on the website. Alternatively, contact customer support with your transaction details (email address, phone number, and transaction ID).
You must carry the M-ticket/E-ticket confirmation and a valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID).
Most online platforms accept major Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), Net Banking from various banks, UPI (Unified Payments Interface), and Mobile Wallets.
The price displayed during the final payment step is the total fare, including all taxes and booking fees. There are no hidden charges.
You can usually cancel or modify your ticket through the "Find Booking" or "Manage Booking" section on the website. Note that cancellation and modification policies (including applicable charges) vary based on the bus operator and the time remaining before departure.
Refunds are processed immediately upon cancellation. The time it takes for the money to reflect in your account depends on your payment method and bank. Generally, it takes 5-7 working days.
The standard luggage policy allows one small handbag and one checked bag (typically 10-15 kgs) per passenger for free. Excess luggage is subject to the bus operator's specific policy and may incur an extra charge, payable directly at the boarding point.
In case of a significant delay (usually over 30 minutes), the operator will notify you via SMS or phone call. If the bus is canceled by the operator, you are entitled to a 100% refund.
